The Turnwright Modular Bed System is unique and has been engineered to suit the increasing demands of modern home nursing. Research showed that many patients were being cared for in the main living area of the home where it was inconvenient for the patient, carers and the family alike.

Many users needed the bed to be in a standard bedroom where they could watch T.V or sleep as they required and not be disturbed by others.

From the very beginning it was our intention to provide a set of equipment that fitted into the home environment and did not look out of place. It also had to be easy to deliver and install into the smallest of rooms. The design, therefore, had to incorporate many differing requirements. The base section utilises a tried and tested hydraulic unit, supplied to hospitals and homes over twenty years, and the product of many innovations in advanced technology. It is sealed for life and does not even have an oil filler hole, it also has a ten year conditional warranty. Operating pedals are located on each side, enabling the bed to be used in any situation. Hydraulic units are quiet in use and very reliable. All of the facilities offered are also available with electric operation and these are ideal for any patient who wishes to be more independent. Height, Backrest and Knee movements can all be achieved with a push of a button. (Bed shown has a Kings Fund Backrest, Wooden footbow and Knee Lifter.) Options now include a choice of Beech or Teak effect.
